How to choose a gray marble

What varies most from one slab to another. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the space and we will suggest two or three options.

  • Light gray

Grigio Perla and Bellagio are soft grays with white veining. They brighten almost like a white and hide wear better.

  • Dark gray with white veining

Pietra Grey has a dark gray background with fine white veins. It works in bathrooms, floors and living room walls.

  • Blue-gray

Bardiglio Nuvolato is gray with a bluish tone and darker clouds. It pairs well with light wood and black metal.

Questions about gray marble

Which gray marble is the lightest?

Among the most requested, Grigio Perla and Bellagio. If you want it even lighter, look at the white marbles with gray veining, such as Carrara.

Does gray marble work for floors?

Yes. It is one of the colors that best hides dust and footprints on a floor. Indoors it is used honed or lappato, which is less slippery than polished.

Does gray marble show wear less?

Yes, more than white or black: a gray background with veining hides fine scratches and water marks.
