Marble or granite for the kitchen?
Granite and quartzite take daily use better: they don't scratch easily and lemon leaves no marks. Marble wins on veining, but lemon and vinegar dull it even when sealed; with a lappato (semi-polished) finish those marks show less. In the Marble or granite? guide we compare the two by use.
