Blu Masaccio marble
Marble · Italy
Not a touch of blue: Blu Masaccio marble is an even dark gray, sprinkled with light gray speckles and free of veins. It performs best in bathrooms and on walls, where that quiet pattern stays the same across the whole surface.

What Blu Masaccio Marble looks like
An even dark gray fills the slab in the photo, dotted with speckles and small fragments in lighter grays. There are no veins: the light speckles barely stand out against the background, and the contrast stays low. The surface looks matte, and the speckling spreads evenly across the whole slab.

Blu Masaccio Marble Finishes
On a gray this even, the finish decides how much the surface shines and how visible the light speckles are.
-
Polished
It brings out the shine in the dark gray; slippery on wet floors.
-
Honed
No reflection on the gray; where water falls, like the shower, it grips better.
-
Brushed
Fine stripes that give the gray texture; another option where the floor gets wet.

Questions about Blu Masaccio Marble
How do I tell this gray apart from Grigio Antracite?
Grigio Antracite is a taupe gray with small speckles and at most one fine white vein. This Blu Masaccio has no vein at all: light speckles and fragments scattered over an even dark gray. Both are speckled grays; choose by looking at the two photos.
Does it work for the shower floor?
Yes, with one adjustment: where the floor gets wet, a polished shine is slippery, so honed or brushed is the way to go. On the wall and the vanity front, the finish is up to you.
Does this marble need sealing?
It depends on the slab: marble absorbs water, and sealer lowers that absorption, though never completely. If a drop of water darkens after a while, that slab wants sealer before its first use.
Why is a gray marble called Blu Masaccio?
The blue stops at the name: the slab is gray and carries no blue tint. The same stone also circulates as Blu Masaccio. When you choose, the photo is what counts, not the name.
How does Blu Masaccio marble reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
