What White Wood Marble looks like
Light gray with wood grain: fine light and gray lines run parallel and dense, horizontally, across the background of this slab. The tones go from grayish white to medium gray. With colors this close, contrast stays low and the rhythm of the lines does not change within the slab in the photo, which looks matte.

White Wood marble finishes
The finish sets how much the gray shines and how the surface feels to the touch.
-
Polished
It leaves a high shine that the matte photo does not show; on a wet shower floor, it is slippery.
-
Honed
Matte, with no reflections on the light gray; on a wet floor it slips less than polished.
-
Brushed
A light texture you can feel; it works in wet areas where polished gets slippery.

Questions about White Wood marble
How do I tell White Wood apart from Striato Olimpico?
By the color of the lines. In its photo, Striato Olimpico shows perfectly parallel bluish gray and white bands, like continuous stripes. White Wood carries fine, dense lines, light and gray, over a light gray base, with low contrast and a wood look.
Does White Wood work as a kitchen countertop?
Yes, if you accept that the surface will change over the years. Lemon or wine on the polished finish leaves a dull mark: it is a chemical reaction, not a stain. If you do not want to see any marks, read the marble or granite guide before you decide.
What care does White Wood marble need?
Clean it with neutral soap and water; dry any acidic liquid the moment it spills. Apply sealer based on what the stone absorbs; the water drop test tells you when. If the polish collects marks over the years, it can be repolished and the surface gets its gloss back.
Will the slab I receive look like the one in the photo?
Not identical: the one in the photo is a real White Wood slab and every slab carries its own pattern. Before you buy we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does White Wood marble reach my country?
