How to choose a brown marble

What varies most from one slab to another. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the space and we will suggest two or three options.

  • Dark brown with light veins

Emperador Dark is chocolate brown with a network of beige veins. It is the best known brown marble.

  • Light brown

Emperador Light is a milky coffee brown with lighter veins. It pairs well with wood and warm tones.

  • Brown with bands

Eramosa has bands of brown, beige and gray. It works on large floors and walls.

Questions about brown marble

Café marble or marrón marble?

It is the same: some countries say café and others marrón. Here are all the marbles whose slab looks brown in the photo.

Does brown marble hide wear?

Yes. Veins and a mid tone hide water marks and fine scratches better than a white or black marble.

Is there brown granite?

Yes. See the brown granite page: it holds up better in a daily-use kitchen.
