How to choose a green marble

What varies most from one slab to another. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the space and we will suggest two or three options.

  • Dark green

Verde Guatemala is a deep green with lighter veins. Verde Alpi is almost black, with a network of green and white veins.

  • Green with bands

Cipollino has green bands over a light background, like layers. Bookmatched, it forms symmetric patterns on a wall.

  • Green with other colors

Rainforest Green mixes green with brown and yellow, and Breccia Imperiale adds gray, white and red.

Questions about green marble

Where does green marble work best?

Bathrooms, living room walls, bars and tables, where the veining shows. For a kitchen in daily use, green quartzite is the better choice; it stands up to more.

Does green marble pair with gold?

Yes. Dark greens like Verde Guatemala and Verde Alpi are widely used with gold or brass faucets and trim.

Do all green marbles need the same care?

They clean the same way: water and mild soap. Before you buy, we tell you how the stone you choose behaves in the use you plan for it.
