What Lemon Ice Marble Looks Like
The pattern comes not from long veins but from flecks: white and dark gray dots speckle a light gray background, with a grayish green tint between them. The glossy polish in the photo reflects light and sets off every fleck. The contrast is medium: the mottling reads clearly without splitting the surface. A wavy band in a darker tone runs among the flecks. From one end of the slab to the other, the mottling changes moderately. At first glance, that speckling suggests granite more than marble.

The mottling may recall granite, but it is marble: wipe up lemon and wine as soon as they touch the polish.
Lemon Ice Marble Finishes
In a mottled stone, the finish decides how much the background shines and how sharply each fleck stands out.
-
Polished
The finish in the photo: the light gray background reflects light and the dark flecks gain definition.
-
Honed
The shine softens and the surface feels smooth; the choice for bathroom floors and showers, where wet polish is slippery.
-
Brushed
The other finish that wet bathroom floors and showers call for, alongside honed.

Questions about Lemon Ice Marble
Is Lemon Ice marble yellow?
No. Lemon Ice is a trade name; the color does not match the name: the slab in the photo is a light gray speckled with white and dark gray flecks. That speckling, more than any vein, is what you notice first.
Where does Lemon Ice marble come from?
The stone comes from Turkey. That fact travels with the origin documents that accompany the order.
Does Lemon Ice work for a kitchen countertop?
It depends on the marks you accept on a countertop. Lemon juice or a drop of wine leave an opaque spot on the polish that cleaning will not remove; over the years those marks build the patina marble is known for. If marks give you pause, the Marble or granite? guide explains which stone stands up better to acid.
Does the slab photo show real Lemon Ice?
Yes. The slab photo shows the real Lemon Ice stone with its glossy polish. Every slab carries its own spread of flecks, so it pays to see the stone before you decide. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does Lemon Ice marble get to my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
