Mont Blanc quartzite
Quartzite · Brazil
Almost no pattern: in the photo, a grayish white crossed by just a few very fine gray lines. Mont Blanc Quartzite keeps the hardness of a quartzite for the kitchen, the bathroom and floors.

What Mont Blanc Quartzite looks like
Nearly clean white with two or three very fine gray lines: that is the whole pattern of the slab in the photo. The lines run horizontally over a light grayish background and the contrast stays low: no area breaks the calm of the white. Across this slab the pattern does not change. The photo shows a high-gloss polish and the stone lets no light through, so it cannot be mounted with light behind it. Each slab carries its own layout of lines: the one that goes to your project is chosen from its photo.

Mont Blanc Quartzite finishes
With such a clean background, what the finish changes is the shine the surface gives back and the feel.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: high shine over the white and its gray lines, the countertop finish.
-
Honed
Leaves the surface matte and smooth: it loses reflection and slips less than polished in showers and on wet floors.
-
Leathered
A soft feel under the hand and a muted shine, no reflections.

Questions about Mont Blanc Quartzite
How do I tell Mont Blanc apart from Macaubas Fantasy quartzite?
Both carry fine horizontal lines over a light background. In its photo, Macaubas Fantasy Quartzite leans cream and its lines read gray-green. Mont Blanc stays grayish white, with barely two or three gray lines and an even lower contrast. If you are torn between the two, ask for the slab photos of each stone.
Does Mont Blanc quartzite work for the kitchen countertop?
Yes. A knife will not mark it, and lemon, wine or a hot pot do far less to it than to marble: the countertop can work every day. Cut on a board anyway, even though the stone does not ask for it: what you protect is the knife's edge. The rest is aesthetics: a background this light gives away every spill, so keep a cloth at hand.
Does Mont Blanc quartzite need sealer?
It depends on the quartzite: some barely absorb and others ask for sealer, so test yours. This stone sits in the middle: staining is what to watch. Water tells you: leave a drop on a cut-off piece and, if the stone darkens underneath, it is time to seal. On such a light countertop, sealer helps keep coffee or oil from setting in.
Is the slab photo real?
Real: two shots of the same Mont Blanc slab, the full slab and the close-up. No other slab repeats this pattern. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does Mont Blanc reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's origin documents and CE certification. Mont Blanc is on request: you receive the stone selected for your project, with its slab confirmed in photos. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
