What Dream Green Marble looks like
A pale lime green background with waves and patches of dark green and yellow running diagonally: the pattern flows, and the variation within the slab is strong. The very dark central area carries the high contrast. This slab is polished: the high shine is what you see in the photo. The one you receive will carry its own pattern, so it is chosen from photos.

Shine and feel: the Dream Green finishes
From the high shine of polished to the matte of honed, each finish changes how much light the surface returns and how it feels.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: the highest-shine finish, smooth to the touch.
-
Honed
It kills the reflection and leaves a matte feel; on a shower floor it works better than polished, which is slippery when wet.
-
Brushed
Fine lines under the hand and a soft shine; another option for the wet bathroom floor.

Questions about Dream Green Marble
Is the photo a real slab?
Yes. Both images are of one real Dream Green slab: the whole slab and a close-up detail. Every slab carries its own pattern, so yours will not be identical to this one. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
Can I use it in the shower?
Yes: the bathroom is where this marble performs best. Polished works on walls; on the shower floor ask for honed or brushed, because wet polished stone is slippery. The same goes for the bathroom floor near the shower.
Does Dream Green Marble need a sealer?
Yes, it helps. Marble is porous and a sealer lowers how much it absorbs, though it never makes it waterproof. The water drop test tells you: if the stone darkens where the drop lands, it is time to seal. On a countertop, check it more often.
How does it differ from Verde Pavone Marble?
Verde Pavone is a deep green, with gold and white strokes flowing horizontally. The Dream Green slab in the photo is lighter, with diagonal waves of dark green and yellow and that very dark central area. See it on the Verde Pavone marble page.
How does Dream Green hold up on a kitchen countertop?
It comes with one condition: you accept that it takes on a patina over the years. Lemon, wine or tomato etch the polished surface with a dull spot; it is a chemical reaction, scrubbing does not remove it and repolishing the piece corrects it. The sealer works against stains, not against that reaction. If you are torn between this marble and harder stones, the marble or granite guide settles it.
