Eramosa marble

Marble · Canada

Fine, horizontal, parallel beige lines cover the grayish brown background of this Eramosa marble slab and make it look like wood. Its natural home is the bathroom and the wall: the even striping adds texture without noise.

What Eramosa Marble Looks Like

Fine beige lines, horizontal and parallel, run so close together that the surface reads as wood. Against the grayish brown background, the light beige of the lines gives medium contrast: the pattern is there without taking over the slab. The pattern barely changes across the slab: the lines hold the same direction and density. The photo shows a real slab: the one that reaches your home will have its own pattern.

Where there is water, in a shower or on a bathroom floor, ask for honed or brushed: wet polish turns slippery.

Eramosa Marble Finishes

What changes from one finish to another is the shine and feel of the surface.

  • Polished

The highest shine and the smoothest feel of the finishes.

  • Honed

Matte and soft to the touch: the finish for areas that get wet, like the shower or the bathroom floor.

  • Brushed

Fine striation under the hand and a muted shine; an alternative for interior floors.

Questions About Eramosa Marble

How does it differ from Venghé marble?

Both have fine horizontal lines, but on Venghé they are continuous and suggest a dark wood. The Eramosa slab in the photo shows light beige over grayish brown, at medium contrast. On the Venghé marble page you can compare the two patterns.

Does Eramosa marble work for the kitchen?

Yes, as long as you like how marble ages. Lemon and vinegar do not stain: they react with the stone and leave a matte spot where they landed. With daily use, the patina also comes on its own. If what you want is a countertop that does not change, see the marble or granite guide.

What care does Eramosa marble need?

Day to day, water with neutral soap is enough. Wipe up acidic liquids as soon as they spill, before they mark the polish. Sealer goes on when the stone asks for it: a drop of water on the surface shows how much it absorbs. And when use has left its trace, re-polishing restores the look.

Are the photos of a real slab?

Yes: they are two shots of a real Eramosa slab, the full view and the close-up on the beige lines. Since no slab repeats another's pattern, the one that goes into your order is confirmed separately. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.

How does Eramosa marble reach my country?

We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
