What Calacatta Copper Marble looks like
Copper and dark brown over cream: on this slab the veins are thick, dense and run horizontally. The palette adds a bluish gray. Contrast with the cream is high, and the vein pattern changes markedly within the same slab, photographed with a glossy polish.

Calacatta Copper Marble finishes
On Copper, the finish decides whether the cream shines or stays matte, and how visible wear marks are.
-
Polished
High gloss, like the Copper in the photo; it is the first to show an acid mark on the cream.
-
Honed
Soft matte, no reflections on the cream; on a wet bathroom floor it slips less than polished.
-
Brushed
A low-gloss texture; like honed, it is an option for bathroom floors and showers.

Questions about Calacatta Copper Marble
How is it different from Calacatta Viola?
In color and pattern. In its photo, Calacatta Viola shows white fragments surrounded by a very dense dark violet web. In yours, Copper has a cream background crossed horizontally by thick copper and dark brown veins.
Can I use Calacatta Copper in the kitchen?
Yes, if you accept wear marks. Wine or tomato dulls the polish right where it lands, and over the years the countertop takes on a patina. If you want no marks at all, compare first in the Marble or granite? guide.
How do you clean Calacatta Copper?
The routine is pH-neutral soap and water. Wipe up wine, tomato or any acidic liquid as soon as it spills. A sealer makes the stone absorb less: if a drop of water darkens the stone, it is time to reseal. Acidic cleaners also dull the polish.
Is the photo of a real slab?
Real: this is a Calacatta Copper slab photographed with its glossy polish. Every slab is different. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
Where do you ship to?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
