What Infinity Brown Quartzite looks like
The background is black with a dark brown undertone. Over that near black, a few fine white veins open, crossing the slab in the photo on the diagonal and reading clearly. Small white dots accompany them. That move from dark to white builds the high contrast, over the glossy polish in the photo. In this slab the veins keep their direction and the tone does not change from one area to another.

Infinity Brown Quartzite finishes
No finish changes what the stone can take: what changes is the gloss, the feel and how much it slips where there is water.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: a mirror shine on the dark background and the white veins.
-
Honed
No mirror: the matte finish leaves the surface smooth and slips less than polished in showers and on wet floors.
-
Leathered
Relief you can feel and a muted gloss; a middle ground between polished and matte.

Questions about Infinity Brown Quartzite
Is Infinity Brown quartzite brown?
Not exactly: Infinity Brown is a trade name and it falls short. In the slab in the photo the background reads near black, with a dark brown undertone. If you want a light brown, look at Radika quartzite: in its photo it is honey colored, with a banded pattern that recalls wood.
Does Infinity Brown quartzite stand up to daily kitchen work?
Yes. It scratches glass, a knife does not mark it, and the heat of a pot weighs on it far less than on marble. Keep cutting on a board: that protects the knife edge.
How does it differ from Fusion quartzite?
Fusion quartzite is another story: in its photo, horizontal waves of ochre and greenish gray run like layers of earth. In the slab in the photo, Infinity Brown reads near black, with few fine white veins on the diagonal. Both are quartzites: choose by tone and by pattern.
Does Infinity Brown quartzite need sealer?
It depends: a drop of water settles it. Watch what happens on the stone where the drop lands: if that spot darkens, that piece asks for sealer. After that, everyday cleaning is water and mild soap.
Is the photo a real slab?
Real: the photo shows an Infinity Brown slab, with a close-up detail. Every slab is different. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
