What Zebrato marble looks like
On a black background, fine stripes of dark gray and light gray wave in diagonal and run parallel, packed very close together. The contrast is high: the light lines stand out strongly and the whole surface recalls bark. The pattern keeps the same rhythm across the whole slab: neither the direction nor the density changes from one area to another. In the photo the slab comes polished, with the black returning the light. The pattern on your slab does not repeat: you choose it from photos.

Where to use Zebrato marble
- BathroomsBathroom walls, vanities and showers

If the area gets wet every day, like a shower or a bathroom floor, ask for honed: wet polished is slippery.
Zebrato marble finishes
The polished finish in the photo is the starting point; from there, each finish moves the shine and the feel.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: it brings out the shine of the black and the gray lines of the slab.
-
Honed
It tones down the reflection and leaves a soft feel; a good fit for showers and floors that get wet.
-
Brushed
A soft texture marked by the brushes; the shine drops and the surface feels firm.
-
Antiqued
It removes almost all the shine and leaves the feel of a stone with years of use.

Questions about Zebrato marble
How is it different from Nero Pagoda marble?
Both are black with fine gray lines, but the pattern changes direction: in the Nero Pagoda photo the lines run horizontal and parallel, almost like wood. On Zebrato they wave in diagonal, packed very close together. Compare both photos on the Nero Pagoda marble page and choose by the movement you want on the wall.
Does Zebrato marble work in a kitchen?
Yes, as long as you accept the patina of daily use. Lemon juice or a glass of wine dulls the shine with a dull patch; sealer does not stop that chemical reaction. For a hard-working kitchen, compare first in the marble or granite guide.
What care does Zebrato marble need?
A damp cloth with neutral soap does the everyday cleaning. Wipe up lemon, wine or any acidic cleaner quickly: they leave a dull mark that is not a stain, it is a chemical reaction. Test how much your slab absorbs with a drop of water; you apply sealer based on that result. On a black like this, dust and water marks show more than on a light stone.
Is the slab photo real?
They are real: the full slab and the close detail are photographs of Zebrato marble. Before you buy, we send you photos of the available slabs so you can choose yours.
How does Zebrato marble reach my country?
