Opal White marble
Marble · Vietnam
The pattern almost disappears on the Opal White marble slab in the photo: a plain, uniform white, no veins, where only faint shades of very light gray show. That calm asks for bathrooms and walls. It also works on an everyday table.

What Opal White Marble looks like
No vein crosses the white background of Opal White; the most you see are faint shades of very light gray. Contrast stays low: within the slab, the white stays uniform. The photo adds no gloss either: the white appears in its matte version. No marble delivers two identical slabs: yours is chosen by looking at photos of the real slabs.

Where to use Opal White Marble
- BathroomsFull bathroom: in wet areas, honed or brushed works better
- WallsWalls where the even white fits in without asking for attention
- Interior floorsWorks well on floors; the sheen wears in traffic areas
- TablesEveryday tables: wine, like lemon, dulls the sheen
- KitchenIt works if you accept that it takes on patina over the years
- OutdoorsIt stays indoors: outside, rain erases the polish
- ScratchesLow
- StainsMedium, with sealer
- AcidsLow
With a background this light, every splash shows: keep a cloth at hand and dry it as soon as it lands.
Opal White Marble finishes
On a plain, even white with no veins to divide the attention, the finish sets the character of the surface.
-
Polished
Maximum sheen and a smooth feel: wet, that surface is slippery.
-
Honed
Low sheen and a soft feel: a good fit for the shower and the bathroom floor.
-
Brushed
Fine lines you can feel and that break the sheen; an option for floors with daily traffic.
-
Antiqued
Matte with an aged air, for interiors where shine gets in the way.

Questions about Opal White Marble
How is it different from Bianco Ghiaccio?
Both live in white with almost no pattern, so the difference is in fine shades. Bianco Ghiaccio is a pure white with almost no visible pattern; on the Opal White slab in the photo, faint gray shading shows over the background. With two whites this close, decide by looking at photos of actual slabs.
How does Opal White behave in the kitchen?
Well, as long as you accept a countertop that takes on patina over the years. When an acid (lemon juice, vinegar, tomato) touches the polish, that spot turns dull: it is a chemical reaction, not a stain. A re-polish brings the shine back. If you want a surface more indifferent to acids, granite has the edge: the comparisons are on the kitchen page.
What cleaning does it need, and when does it get sealed?
Water and pH-neutral soap are enough; keep acidic products away, they leave their mark on the polish. The drop test gives direction: drop water on the stone and, if it darkens under the drop, it is time to seal. No sealer makes marble waterproof: it makes the stone drink less water.
Is the photo of a real slab?
Yes: the slab photo is a real piece of Opal White, same as the close-up. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order. Those photos let you choose the slab that gets cut for your project.
How does Opal White marble reach my country?
