What Arabesque Marble Looks Like
Arabesque breaks the white background into large, elongated fragments, each surrounded by thick medium-gray veins that run diagonally. The contrast is high, and the grays of the pattern range from light to medium. The change within the slab is strong: each area distributes the fragments its own way. The slab that goes to your project is chosen by looking at photos of the real slabs.

Where to use Arabesque marble?
- BathroomsWalls and vanities; in the shower, a matte finish is best
- WallsIts natural home: the pattern shows in full
- Interior floorsHome floors; daily traffic wears the polish
- TablesDining tables; wipe wine up right away
- KitchenPossible if you accept the patina that comes with the years
- OutdoorsIndoors is its place: rain and sun strip the polish
- ScratchesLow
- StainsMedium, with sealer
- AcidsLow
If you want no marks at all in the kitchen, this is not your marble: granite holds up better against acids, and quartzite gives the marbled look with more hardness.
Arabesque Marble Finishes
The finish changes the shine and the grip of the surface, not the pattern: the web of fragments and medium-gray veins stays.
-
Polished
Deep shine: the finish where the dull mark left by an acid shows first.
-
Honed
Matte and reflection-free: less slippery than polished when wet, and the comfortable choice in showers and bathroom floors.
-
Brushed
Brushing tones down the shine and leaves a fine texture; it also works where there is water, like the shower.

Questions about Arabesque Marble
Is Arabesque the same stone as Arabescato Corchia?
No. Both are white marbles with fragments and veins, laid out in different ways: Arabescato Corchia carries a very dense network of fine dark veins that trap many small white fragments, while Arabesque shows fewer, larger fragments wrapped in thick gray veins. Ask for photos of both slabs and put them side by side before you choose.
Does Arabesque marble work for a kitchen countertop?
It works if you accept how it ages. A splash of lemon or tomato leaves a matte patch on the polish: that is the stone's chemical reaction, not a stain you can wipe off. The countertop suits anyone who wants marble and accepts the patina of daily use.
What care does Arabesque marble need?
For routine washing, pH-neutral soap and water. Wine and lemon are acids: wipe them up right away before they etch the polish. A sealer slows absorption, though the stone never closes completely. A drop of water on the stone tells you when to reseal.
Is the Arabesque photo a real slab?
Yes. It is the photo of a real slab: it shows the strong variation the pattern has within a single piece. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does Arabesque marble reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
