What Snow White Marble Looks Like
A very clean white dominates the slab in the photo: it is crossed by gray traces so faint they are barely distinguishable. They run diagonally and contrast little with the background, so the eye reads a surface with almost no pattern. The pattern holds no surprises within the slab: no zone stands out from another. The photo is in high polish, and the background reflects light.

Where to use Snow White Marble
- BathroomsShowers and sinks; honed where the surface gets wet
- WallsWall cladding where white leads and the pattern does not compete
- Interior floorsInterior floors; the shine wears and can be polished again
- TablesDining tables; sealer helps against stains
- KitchenCountertops only if you accept the patina of the years
- OutdoorsBest indoors: outdoors it loses its polish
- ScratchesLow
- StainsMedium, with sealer
- AcidsLow
The very clean white shows every stain: where coffee, wine, or oil lands, sealing is advisable depending on what the stone absorbs.
Snow White Marble Finishes
On this stone, the finish decides the shine: choose how much reflection you want in the white.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: a high shine that lifts light across the clean white.
-
Honed
Matte and soft to the touch; it suits showers and wet areas, where a shine gets slippery.
-
Brushed
Run under brushes: fine lines to the touch and a muted shine, between polished and matte.

Questions about Snow White Marble
How is it different from Calacatta Classic marble?
Both are white marbles with a diagonal pattern. The difference is intensity: Calacatta Classic carries fine light gray veins across the whole slab, while the Snow White slab in the photo barely shows gray traces, even fainter, that blend into the background. For a white with a discreet pattern, Snow White leans further that way.
How does Snow White marble hold up in the kitchen?
In the kitchen the story is different: expect the surface to take on a patina over the years. A squeeze of lemon or a splash of wine etches the polish and leaves a dull spot that cleaning does not bring back. If your countertop will see daily use and you want it flawless, compare first on the natural stone for kitchens page.
Does Snow White marble need a sealer?
It depends on what each slab absorbs. Drop a little water on it: if the stone absorbs it and darkens at that spot, it is time to apply sealer. Sealer lowers absorption, it does not end it: the stone stays porous. For daily care, a cloth with neutral soap is enough; if lemon or wine spills, wipe it up quickly: on a white this clean, any residue stays in view.
Is the photo a real slab?
Yes. It is a photo of a real Snow White slab, with the polished shine in plain view. Every slab is unique. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
