New Marfil marble

Marble · Spain

Not a single vein on the light cream background: that is the New Marfil marble slab in the photo, fine-grained and even in tone. Bathrooms and walls are where a background like this works best: a clean base that does not compete with the furniture.

What New Marfil Marble Looks Like

No vein crosses this slab: the light cream background is built from a fine grain of tiny lighter specks. The contrast is low: the grain spreads evenly and no area weighs more than another. The finish in the photo is matte, so the cream reads soft, with no reflections in between. That calm pays off on a large wall or in a full bathroom, where the surface stays quiet and the room sets the tone.

New Marfil Marble Finishes

On a tone this even, the finish barely touches the pattern: what changes is the shine and the feel.

  • Polished

High shine that lifts the cream and reflects light; slippery on a wet floor.

  • Honed

The matte a shower and a bathroom ask for: it removes the reflection and adds grip where there is water.

  • Brushed

Brushing leaves a soft, regular relief: a matte with texture that adds grip on floors.

  • Antiqued

A deep matte with the air of old stone, for those who want a surface with no mirror shine.

Questions About New Marfil Marble

Does New Marfil marble work for a kitchen countertop?

Yes, with one condition: marble keeps the marks of daily use, and a countertop shows them all. Lemon or vinegar leave a dull spot on the polish that stands out on this light cream: it is a chemical reaction, not a stain. Sealer does not stop that reaction, though it does help against stains. If you want a countertop that takes acids better, compare with granite; the kitchen page has more countertop options.

How is it different from Botticino Classico?

In its photo, Botticino Classico is beige with fine, jagged light brown veins running across it horizontally. The New Marfil slab in the photo has none: its pattern is an even, discreet grain. Compare the pattern with the Botticino Classico photos.

What care does New Marfil need?

Water with neutral soap to clean it, and wipe up any acidic liquid the moment it lands. For the sealer, the water drop is the test: if the stone absorbs it and a darker spot stays where it fell, that slab needs it. Etching marks that appear over the years can be polished out again: marble can be restored.

Is the photo a real slab?

Yes. They are photos of a real New Marfil slab: the full slab and a close-up detail, in its matte finish. Each slab carries its own pattern, and in such an even tone the exact shade gets confirmed in photos. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.

How does New Marfil reach my country?
