The fine grain of Fior di Crema Marble
Cream with a yellowish tinge and no veins: the photo shows an even, fine grained surface, barely marked by faint horizontal streaks. That granular pattern keeps contrast low, and within the slab the variation is uniform, with no areas that change tone. The photo shows the matte surface. As a marble, each slab comes with its own grain: the one that goes into your order is picked from real photos.

Fior di Crema Marble finishes
On a vein-free slab, the finish decides the sheen and the touch; the photo shows it matte.
-
Polished
Intense sheen and a smooth surface; slippery when wet.
-
Honed
The touch stays soft and the sheen drops: the finish to choose where polished stone is slippery when wet.
-
Brushed
It leaves a fine texture you can feel with your hand, with little sheen.

Questions before buying Fior di Crema Marble
How does it differ from New Marfil marble?
In their photos, both are fine grained cream marble with no veins. The difference is the tone: New Marfil marble stays in a light cream, while the Fior di Crema slab leans yellowish. With the slabs in front of you, you can tell them apart at once. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
Does Fior di Crema marble work for a kitchen countertop?
Yes, if you accept the patina: like every marble, lemon or vinegar leaves a dull mark that cleaning does not remove. A knife dragged across leaves a scratch; granite is far harder to mark. It works for whoever wants this even cream and accepts that over the years the countertop keeps signs of use. If you want zero marks, granite holds up better against acids.
How do you care for Fior di Crema marble?
Daily care is water and pH-neutral soap; acidic liquids get wiped as soon as they land, because they leave a permanent mark. With sealer, the reference is the water drop: if the stone absorbs it and darkens, that slab needs sealing before use. It helps the slab absorb less; it does not make it waterproof.
How does Fior di Crema marble reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
