What Jacaranda Quartzite looks like
Wavy horizontal bands of mustard yellow, cream and dark gray run across the slab in the photo over a mustard ochre background, with black among the colors of the pattern. The strokes are fluid and full of movement, with high contrast between light and dark. The marked variation plays out within the slab itself. The slab in the photo arrives polished and glossy. Your slab will bring its own version: you choose it from photos of the available slabs.

Jacaranda Quartzite finishes
The finish does not touch the pattern: choose by the gloss you want and by where the piece will go.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: a strong reflection on the mustard and gray bands.
-
Honed
No reflection and a smooth feel: where there is water, the surface slips less than polished.
-
Leathered
A pronounced texture under the hand and barely any sheen.

Questions about Jacaranda Quartzite
Is Jacaranda the same as engineered quartz?
No. Jacaranda is a quartz-rich sandstone that heat and pressure turned into rock: true natural stone. Engineered quartz is another thing: a composite, not natural stone.
How does it differ from Polaris Gold quartzite?
Both move between cream and ochre. The pattern sets them apart: in its photo, Polaris Gold carries a network of orange veins over cream and ochre, with a dark petrol gray zone at the bottom; in its own, Jacaranda carries wavy horizontal bands of mustard, cream and dark gray.
Does Jacaranda quartzite work for the kitchen countertop?
Yes. Jacaranda scratches glass, so the knife edge does not mark it. Lemon acid and the heat of a pot affect it far less than a marble. The cutting board stays in the kitchen: it protects the edge, not the stone.
Does Jacaranda quartzite need sealer?
The answer is in the slab you will receive: every quartzite absorbs differently. The drop of water shows the way: if the stone darkens underneath, that piece asks for sealer. For daily cleaning, mild soap diluted in water.
How does Jacaranda quartzite get to my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
