What Bianco Romano Marble looks like
The speckle makes the pattern: small rounded clasts, light and dark, very dense over the pinkish beige background of the slab in the photo. The dots come in white, light brown and gray, without ever forming veins or bands; the contrast with the background is medium. Across the slab the speckle spreads evenly, over a surface that looks matte in the photo.

The finishes of Bianco Romano Marble
The speckle takes gloss or matte: choose by the piece and how much use it will get.
-
Polished
It lifts the shine of the pinkish beige background; wet, it turns slippery, so think twice on floors.
-
Honed
Matte and soft to the touch: the comfortable finish for showers and bathroom floors that get wet.
-
Brushed
Its fine scratches lower the gloss; it serves on floors and in showers, where wet polish turns slippery.
-
Antiqued
A lively, shine-free texture; the speckle stays and the reflection goes.

Questions about Bianco Romano Marble
How does it differ from Botticino Fiorito marble?
Both sit in the pinkish beige range. Botticino Fiorito scatters irregular, flower-shaped light patches; Bianco Romano fills the slab with small rounded clasts and no veins. Even speckle against scattered patches: the difference jumps out at you.
How does Bianco Romano behave on a kitchen countertop?
It works under one condition: marble takes a patina, so the countertop works if you accept that use will keep leaving marks. If an acidic liquid sits for a while, the polish dulls right there: it is a chemical reaction, not a stain. The surface also scratches more easily than granite. For a countertop that should not keep marks, the marble or granite guide helps you choose.
Why is it also called Bianco Romano?
Because Bianco Romano is another name for this same stone. It is not a separate variant: if you search by one name or the other, you arrive at the same marble.
Is the Bianco Romano photo of a real slab?
Yes. It is a real Bianco Romano slab seen in full; the close-up detail comes from that same slab. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does Bianco Romano marble reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
