What Azul Cielo Marble looks like
A pale sky blue with a fine grain fills the slab in the photo. There are no veins: the pattern is the grain itself, where white and light green mix with low contrast. Only a small green inclusion on the left interrupts it: outside that spot, the color stays the same across the whole surface. It is also a marble that can let light through.

Azul Cielo Marble Finishes
Polished, honed or brushed: each changes how the pale blue reflects and how the surface feels.
-
Polished
Maximum shine: it brightens the pale blue and leaves the surface smooth as a mirror.
-
Honed
Matte and soft to the touch: the finish for showers, bathroom floors and any area that gets wet.
-
Brushed
Fine brush stripes that calm the shine and give a better grip underfoot.
-
Backlit
With a hidden light behind it, the pale blue lights up: it works where the slab lets light through.

Questions about Azul Cielo Marble
How is Azul Cielo marble different from Azul Calcite marble?
The pattern. Azul Calcite builds thick grayish-blue crystals on a white background, with a whiter diagonal band. The Azul Cielo in the photo is fine-grained, uniform and vein-free. The Azul Calcite marble photo lets you see the difference at a glance.
Can Azul Cielo marble take a kitchen countertop?
It works if you accept the patina: as a marble, wine, lemon or vinegar leave a dull mark on this stone's shine. Sealer helps with stains, but it does not stop that chemical reaction. If the pale blue in the photo wins you over but you cook every day, granite handles acids better and quartzite gives you hardness with the look of marble. On the kitchen page we tell you which stones hold up best to that pace.
Does Azul Cielo marble work in the shower?
Yes, with one caveat: polished stone is slippery when wet, so ask for a honed or brushed finish on the shower floor. On the walls that problem does not exist, and the shine can stay. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
What care does Azul Cielo marble need?
Water and neutral soap are enough for daily cleaning; wipe up any acidic liquid right away: lemon, wine or tomato. Sealer is not on a schedule: if your slab absorbs water (a drop that darkens gives it away), it is time to apply it. The marks the years leave on the shine come off with a re-polish: marble can be restored.
How does it reach my country?
