What Alma Fuoco marble looks like
Over a greenish cream background, fragments and stains in ocher and rust stand out, each with a dark edge. It is a brecciated pattern of high contrast: from afar the stains dominate, and up close you see the dark outline of each piece. In the photo, the stains group toward the upper central area. Within the slab the variation is marked. Each slab carries its own pattern: choose yours from photos before cutting.

Alma Fuoco marble finishes
The polish and the matte finishes change how the pattern reads: gloss that raises the contrast, or texture that calms it.
-
Polished
The glossy face of the marble: light bounces off and the dark edge of every stain stands out more. Wet, it is slippery.
-
Honed
It removes the reflection and leaves the matte: more grip on the shower floor and less gloss on the wall.
-
Brushed
Fine parallel lines and a different feel when you run your hand over the pattern.
-
Antiqued
A matte surface with a rustic air where the pattern reads softer.

Questions about Alma Fuoco marble
How do I tell this slab apart from Alma marble?
The two share the greenish cream background and the name. Alma spreads soft, scattered olive fossil inclusions, a discreet pattern. Alma Fuoco breaks that base with crisp-edged ocher and rust stains of high contrast.
Can Alma Fuoco marble hold up as a kitchen countertop?
On a countertop, this marble asks for one condition: accepting that it takes a patina over the years. The acid of a lemon or a splash of wine leaves a dull area that does not come out with scrubbing. If you do not want to see marks, compare other stones on the natural stone for kitchens page.
What care does it need day to day?
Clean it with water and neutral soap, no acidic products. To know whether your slab needs sealer, drop a little water on it: when the spot darkens, the stone is absorbing and it is time to seal. And dry any acidic liquid at once; that is what leaves the polish dull.
Is the slab photo real?
Yes. The photo shows a real Alma Fuoco slab, and the detail shows it up close. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
Does Alma Fuoco marble reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
