Breccia Sarda marble

Marble · Italy

A warm beige with low contrast, crossed diagonally by cream and light brown veins, some thick. Breccia Sarda is a marble from Italy that works best indoors: bathrooms, walls and floors.

It is also known as Brecha Sarda.

What Breccia Sarda marble looks like

The veins are the first thing you notice: cream and light brown, crossing the warm beige base diagonally, some turning thick. Contrast is low and variation moderate: the pattern lives between beige, cream and light brown, with no other color. The photo shows a real slab: every Breccia Sarda carries its own pattern and yours is chosen from photos.

Questions about Breccia Sarda marble

Is Breccia Sarda the same as Brecha Sarda?

Yes: they are two names for the same stone. Breccia is the Italian word and Brecha the Spanish spelling. Whichever name you order under, the same marble arrives.

How is it different from Botticino Classico marble?

Both are beige with light brown veins, but the pattern differs: in Botticino Classico the veins are fine, jagged and run horizontally, while in Breccia Sarda they run diagonally and some are thick. See the two slabs together and you notice it at once.

Does Breccia Sarda work for a kitchen countertop?

Only if you accept patina: lemon, wine or a tomato leave a dull mark in the polish that scrubbing does not remove. If you want a countertop with no marks, granite stands up to acids far better, and hard quartzites, which look like marble, scratch less. In natural stone for kitchens we cover which ones fit best.

What care does Breccia Sarda marble need?

Nothing complicated: for everyday cleaning, water and neutral soap. If lemon, wine or an acidic cleaner lands on it, dry it right away, because what it leaves is not a stain: it is polish giving way. The water drop test tells you how much the slab absorbs and whether a sealer is a good idea before installing it. And the marks daily use leaves have a solution: the surface accepts re-polishing.

How does Breccia Sarda reach my country?

We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
