What Breccia D'Aragona marble looks like
Large greenish beige fragments build the brecciated pattern of the slab in the photo. Coral pink enters in patches along the left edge, alongside ochres that warm the whole up. Fine light veins run through the fragments. The contrast sits at a midpoint, and within the slab the change is marked: choose yours from photos of the available slabs.

Finishes for Breccia D'Aragona
The same brecciated pattern changes character with the finish: polished, the fragments stand out sharp; matte, the whole pattern quiets down.
-
Polished
The coral pink deepens in tone and each fragment stands out in sharp relief; this is the finish where an acid spill shows first.
-
Honed
Matte and soft: it hides wear marks and is less slippery where there is water.
-
Brushed
A light striped relief and a muted color; a good pick for busy interior floors.
-
Antiqued
Softened edges and a matte surface with no mirror gloss; the brecciated pattern takes on the air of old stone.

Questions about Breccia D'Aragona marble
Are Breccia D'Aragona and Brecha D'Aragona the same stone?
Yes. Breccia and Brecha are two spellings of the same trade name: both names refer to this marble.
How does it differ from Breccia Oniciata?
Both break the beige background into fragments. Breccia Oniciata shows golden beige fragments with concentric waves and a striped brown band at the bottom; D'Aragona leans greenish beige and adds coral pink patches with fine light veins.
Does Breccia D'Aragona work as a kitchen countertop?
It works if you accept how it ages. Lemon, tomato or wine leave a dull patch on the polished surface that does not come off by scrubbing: a sealer does not prevent it. If you like the idea of a patina developing over the years, a countertop is a fit; if you do not want any marks, granite stands up better to acids.
How do you care for Breccia D'Aragona?
Clean it with water and neutral soap; if lemon, wine or tomato spills, pick it up right away so the acid does not mark the polish. Apply sealer when a drop of water darkens the surface quickly: the stone is porous and that test tells you when to reapply.
Is the photo of a real slab, and do you ship to my country?
Yes to both. The photo comes from a real slab of this marble, whole and with a close-up detail. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order. We ship to any country, with the stone's origin documents and CE certification; on the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
