What Titanium quartzite looks like
Deep black background: over it, golden and beige flame-shaped inclusions spread at random, with some brown tones inside the pattern. The pattern is fluid and the contrast high: gold and beige stand out strongly against the black of the photo. The surface comes in glossy polish. Within this slab the spread of flames varies moderately.

The finish on Titanium quartzite
The three finishes keep the flame pattern; what changes is the reflection and the feel of the surface.
-
Polished
It is the one in the photo: high shine over the black and the gold; it slips on wet floors.
-
Honed
It takes down the shine and leaves a matte finish: soft to the touch and less slippery than polished.
-
Leathered
Firm relief under the hand and a low shine; the black is left without reflections.

Questions about Titanium quartzite
How is Titanium quartzite different from Negresco quartzite?
In its photo, Negresco quartzite is a black with fine, sparse white veins running diagonally: the background rules. In this one, Titanium spreads golden and beige flames and the contrast rises. Both are dark-background quartzites; choose by how much light you want to give the black.
Is Titanium quartzite quartz?
No. Quartzite is natural stone: it was born when heat and pressure turned quartz-rich sand into rock. Engineered quartz, on the other hand, is made in a plant as an agglomerate. In Titanium the difference shows: its flames are stone, and each slab carries a different spread.
How does Titanium quartzite perform in the kitchen?
It performs well. The surface scratches glass; the kitchen knife does not mark it. Against heat and acids, Titanium resists far better than a marble. Cut on a board: that way the knife's edge lasts longer. On the kitchen page you compare this quartzite with other stones.
What care does Titanium quartzite need?
A cloth with water and neutral soap leaves the surface clean. Absorption is checked slab by slab: drop a little water and, if the stone stays darker there, that piece asks for sealer. On a background this black, drops that dry on their own show; a dry cloth removes them.
How does Titanium quartzite reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
