What Sultano Onyx looks like
A reddish brown background sets the base for very defined orange and cream rings that curl around brown areas, in bands that wave in concentric circles. The high contrast makes the orange read strongly against that background. The pattern changes a lot within a single slab: each slab carries different bands, so you choose yours from photos before ordering. In the slab photo the surface is polished and shines. Because it is translucent, the wall changes face when you put light behind it.

Questions about Sultano Onyx
Are Onice Sultano and Sultano onyx the same stone?
Yes. Onice Sultano is another way of writing the name: both labels name the same stone. The label does not say what the slab you will receive looks like. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
Can you backlight Sultano onyx?
Yes: it is a translucent stone, and with a cool, even light source behind the stone, the orange and cream rings light up. It is this onyx's signature effect, so plan the lighting installation before building the wall.
What is the difference between Sultano onyx and brown onyx?
They share the brown tone and the same care. In its photo, brown onyx covers the background with a fine net of light lines and a bubbly band on top. Sultano, in its own photo, lets the concentric orange and cream rings take over.
How do you care for Sultano onyx?
A soft cloth with water and a little neutral soap is enough for daily care. When you finish, go over it again with the cloth to dry it, because standing water leaves marks. Acid or abrasive cleaners are out: this onyx reacts to them like a marble.
How does Sultano onyx reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
