What Serizzo Granite Looks Like
The contrast of this slab is high: dense, elongated horizontal white streaks run across the dark gray background and form a fluid pattern. Black appears among its tones. The density of the streaks does not change within the slab. The finish in the photo is a glossy polish; Serizzo granite comes from Italy.

Over the same dark gray with white streaks, each finish gives a different gloss and a different feel.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: full gloss over the dark gray and the white streaks.
-
Honed
It stays matte, smooth to the touch, without the reflection of the polish.

Leathered
A textured relief you notice under your hand, with a low gloss.

Questions About Serizzo Granite
How is Serizzo granite different from Steel Grey?
Both are gray granites; what changes is the pattern. In its photo, Steel Grey granite shows a medium steel gray grain over a near-black background, with small lighter gray areas spread across it. In yours, Serizzo instead brings dense, elongated horizontal white streaks over the dark gray.
Is Serizzo a good stone for kitchens?
Yes. Granite is the most forgiving natural stone in the daily work of a kitchen. Serizzo takes pots straight off the stove, the scrape of utensils and splashes of lemon or vinegar. A marble, softer and more veined, asks for more attention in that same work.
How much care does Serizzo need day to day?
Little. What asks for attention is the sealer: with it, stain resistance is high. For cleaning, water and neutral soap. Concentrated bleach is not a good idea, because it dulls the sealer.
Is the photo a real slab?
Real: what the photo shows is a Serizzo slab, with its polished finish. Every natural stone slab carries its own pattern. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
How do I receive Serizzo granite in my country?
