What Verde Marina Granite looks like
Most granites carry a grain or speckled pattern; on the slab in the photo, this one runs in wavy bands of white and dark grey grain that flow diagonally over a medium grey background. The bands are dense and the contrast is high: the white and the dark grey stand out clearly against the background. The pattern changes a lot from one stretch of the slab to another, so look at the photo of each slab before you approve the order.

Finishes for Verde Marina Granite
In a pattern as marked as this one, the finish decides the shine and the feel of the surface.
-
Polished
The shiniest: it leaves a mirror reflection on the grey and a smooth feel.
-
Honed
It lowers the polished reflection and leaves a matte finish, soft to the touch.
-
Flamed
A rough texture made with fire: for outdoor floors and pool coping.

Questions about Verde Marina Granite
Is Verde Marina granite green?
No. Verde Marina is a trade name: the photo shows no green tone at all, just a medium grey with white and dark grey bands. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
How is it different from Steel Grey granite?
In the slab photo, Verde Marina builds wavy white and dark grey bands, dense and diagonal, over a medium grey. In its photo, Steel Grey granite looks more even: a nearly black background of medium steel-grey grain, with small lighter grey areas spread across it. Both are granites; choose by the pattern and the tone.
Does it work for a kitchen countertop?
Yes. Granite is the most forgiving stone for daily use: it takes the hot pot and the lemon that leave marks on marble. If you want to compare stones before you decide, you will find other options in stones for kitchens.
Does this granite need sealing?
It is worth sealing: with sealer, this granite keeps a high resistance to stains where wine, coffee or oil spills. Clean with water and neutral soap; the concentrated bleach in some cleaners dulls the sealer.
How does Verde Marina granite reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
