What Juliet Quartzite looks like
Fuchsia pink sets the background color of the slab in the photo, alongside the white that accompanies it. The veins run horizontal and dense, in rust red and orange, with high contrast against the background. Within the slab, the intensity of the pattern changes noticeably. The polished finish in the photo gives the surface a high gloss.

Finishes for Juliet Quartzite
The photo shows a glossy polished finish; honed and leathered remove the reflection and change the feel.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: high gloss over the fuchsia pink and the rust red veins.
-
Honed
Matte and smooth to the touch: the pink loses its reflection and the surface slips less than polished where there is water.
-
Leathered
Textured feel and the lowest gloss of the three finishes.

Questions about Juliet Quartzite
How is Juliet quartzite different from Fusion Red quartzite?
Both are quartzites with a horizontal pattern, but the background sets them apart. Fusion Red quartzite is, in its photo, brick red with dark waves and one fine white vein. Juliet, in its photo, leans on fuchsia pink and white, with dense rust red and orange veins.
Can Juliet quartzite handle kitchen work?
Yes for kitchen work: the surface scratches glass, a knife leaves no mark, and the heat of a pot weighs on it far less than on marble. A drop of lemon on an offcut shows whether that piece contains calcite or dolomite: if it reacts, acids call for more care with that piece.
Does Juliet quartzite need to be sealed?
It depends on the piece: every quartzite absorbs differently. Run the test on an offcut of your piece: one drop of water; if the stone darkens where it lands, that slab asks for sealer. To clean it, water and mild soap. Cut on a board: what you protect is the knife edge.
Is the slab in the photo real?
Really: the slab in the photo is a Juliet quartzite. Every slab is different. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does Juliet quartzite get to my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
