Da Vinci quartzite
Quartzite · Brazil
Dark green veins run vertical and light bands cross them horizontal: the Da Vinci quartzite photo builds that grid over a grayish green background. It keeps up with the pace of a kitchen and performs just as well in a bathroom, a wall or a table.

What Da Vinci quartzite looks like
Over the grayish green background, two vein directions cross: dark green veins vertical and light bands horizontal. The contrast between the two is medium, and within the slab the pattern changes moderately. The photo shows the slab polished: it shines, but it does not let light through.

Da Vinci quartzite finishes
In the photo, polished leads; honed and leathered change the shine and the feel.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: a shiny surface over the grayish green and its veins.
-
Honed
It stays matte and soft to the touch; where there is water it slips less than polished.
-
Leathered
A texture you feel when you run your hand over it and a more muted shine on the grayish green.

Questions about Da Vinci quartzite
How is Da Vinci quartzite different from Amazzonia Green?
In its photo, Amazzonia Green is jade green, with white diagonal waves and crossing dark veins. Da Vinci stays in the grayish green: it builds a grid of dark green vertical veins crossed by light horizontal bands. Side by side, you tell them apart at once: Amazzonia waves in diagonal and Da Vinci crosses in two directions.
Does Da Vinci quartzite work for the kitchen countertop?
Yes, the kitchen is one of its strong uses. The quartzite scratches glass and a knife leaves no mark, though it is best to cut on a board to protect the edge. Against heat and the acids of daily life it performs far better than marble. The kitchen options sit together in natural stone for kitchens.
Does Da Vinci quartzite need sealer?
It depends on how much the slab you take home absorbs. The drop test decides on your slab: where the drop darkens the stone, it is time to seal. Clean it with water and pH-neutral soap.
Is the slab photo real?
Real: the full slab and its close-up come from one true Da Vinci slab. Your slab will bring its own version of the grid. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
Do you ship Da Vinci quartzite to other countries?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
