What Arlecchino Marble Looks Like
Large rust-red patches spread across a pinkish beige background, joined by a network of fine white veins. The pattern is brecciated and high in contrast, with touches of ocher and white that complete the palette. In the photo, the spread of red and beige changes a lot from one area to another. No two slabs carry the patches the same way, so yours is chosen from its own photo.

Where does Arlecchino marble shine?
- BathroomsShowers, vanities and walls; honed where there is water
- WallsWall cladding where the large patches show in full
- Interior floorsInterior floors; the shine wears in traffic areas
- TablesDining tables; wipe wine or coffee up quickly
- KitchenCountertops only if you accept patina; acids leave marks
- OutdoorsBetter indoors: weather strips the polish
- ScratchesLow
- StainsMedium, with sealer
- AcidsLow
In showers and bathroom floors, ask for the honed finish: bright polish turns slippery when the surface gets wet.
Arlecchino Marble Finishes
The slab in the photo comes polished; honing and brushing tone that shine down and leave a calmer surface for floors and showers.
-
Polished
The one in the photo: it draws out the maximum reflection, and the rust red looks more intense.
-
Honed
It takes the shine off: the pattern looks calmer and a wet floor is less slippery.
-
Brushed
Fine brush stripes with a soft relief and a medium shine; useful on bathroom floors.

Questions about Arlecchino Marble
How is it different from Rosso Lepanto?
Both are red marbles, but the pattern is built differently. Rosso Lepanto builds the slab from deep red fragments surrounded by a dense network of white veins. In Arlecchino, large rust-red patches sit on a pinkish beige background, crossed by fine white veins.
Does Arlecchino marble work in the kitchen?
The kitchen suits it with one condition: accepting that the years leave a patina of use on the surface. On a countertop, lemon, wine or tomato marks the polish with a dull patch that only repolishing the stone corrects. Everyday heat does not bother it. If you prefer a surface that resists acids better, compare them in the marble or granite guide.
What care does Arlecchino marble need?
Nothing unusual in the care: water and pH-neutral soap are enough, and wine or lemon is wiped up as soon as it spills. Check with a drop of water whether the slab absorbs: if the spot darkens, seal it before use. The sealer helps, but it never makes the stone waterproof.
Is the Arlecchino photo of a real slab?
Yes: the photo shows an Arlecchino slab with its bright polish. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
