Juparana Florence granite

Granite · Brazil

Grainy coppery brown with fading beige areas and rust touches: that is what the photo of the Juparana Florence granite slab shows, a granite from Brazil. It takes the daily kitchen routine and performs just as well on floors, tables and facades.

What Juparana Florence Granite Looks Like

A fine coppery brown grain covers the slab in the photo, with diffuse beige areas and rust touches. The grain is granite's own pattern: a fine speckle of coppers and beige that runs over the whole surface, with no veins to break it. The contrast stays in the middle: the beige is noticeable over the copper. Within this same slab, the spread of the beige changes moderately. The copper in the photo appears under a glossy polish.

If the outdoor floor or the pool coping will get water, ask for the flamed finish: that rough texture slips less than wet polish.

Juparana Florence Granite Finishes

Choose the finish by shine and feel: the grainy pattern of Juparana Florence stays the same in all four.

  • Polished

The shine of the photo, with a surface as smooth as a mirror.

  • Honed

A matte surface with a soft feel: the copper loses its reflection.

  • Flamed

Flaming leaves the surface rough and matte: it slips less than polish on outdoor floors and pool copings.

  • Leathered

A textured surface you feel under your hand and a restrained shine, softer than polish.

Questions About Juparana Florence Granite

How is it different from Juparana Dourado?

Both carry the Juparana name, but their photos look little alike. Dourado, in its photo, moves reddish waves and swirls over an ocher brown. In its own, Florence spreads the pattern in a fine coppery grain, with the diffuse beige and much less movement.

Does Juparana Florence granite work for the kitchen countertop?

Yes: the countertop is the use where granite performs most. It takes hot pots, cutting and the acids of lemon or vinegar without giving ground, where a marble would etch. Juparana Florence is no different; cut on a board to protect the knife edge.

Does Juparana Florence granite need sealer?

It helps, especially in the kitchen: the sealer holds up stain resistance when coffee, oil or wine spills. For everyday cleaning, a damp cloth with neutral soap is enough. One exception: concentrated bleach dulls the sealer, so it is better not to use it as a cleaner.

Is the photo a real slab?

Real: what you see is a Juparana Florence slab with its polish. No other slab repeats this spread of beige over the copper. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
