What Botticino Semiclassico Marble Looks Like
Even creamy beige, crossed side to side by fine jagged veins of reddish brown: that is how this slab looks in the photo. The lines run horizontally at medium density and spread over the whole surface without filling it. Contrast with the background is low, so the slab reads calm from a distance and the vein appears as you get closer. The jagged line stays even within the slab. No slab repeats another's stroke: the one in your order is chosen from photos of what is available.

Before cutting, ask for photos of the slabs and check which way the vein runs: on a long wall, every piece must follow the same line.
Botticino Semiclassico Marble Finishes
On a low-contrast background, the finish decides how much the beige shines and how visible the vein is.
-
Polished
It brings out the cream and leaves the jagged line well marked; it is slippery on wet floors.
-
Honed
Matte and soft to the touch: it calms reflection and gives grip in showers and on floors.
-
Brushed
Fine stripes and a firm feel; for indoor floors where water may be present.

Questions about Botticino Semiclassico Marble
How do I tell Semiclassico apart from Botticino Classico?
The color of the vein: on Classico the jagged vein is light brown and on Semiclassico it is reddish brown. Both backgrounds are beige and the line runs horizontally in both. They differ by the tone of the vein, not its shape.
Can I use it on a kitchen countertop?
Yes, with one condition: when lemon or wine lands, acid etches the shine and leaves a dull patch that only comes back with repolishing. If you accept that the kitchen takes on that patina, it works; if you want a countertop without marks of use, read the marble or granite guide first.
What care does this marble need?
For daily cleaning, a damp cloth with neutral soap is enough. If a drop of water absorbs in and darkens the beige, seal the surface before using it. And when lemon, wine or tomato lands, wipe it up right away: acid leaves a dull patch of polish, not a stain.
Are these real slabs on this page?
Yes: they are photos of this very marble, the full slab photo and a close shot of its surface. Every slab has its own pattern. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does Botticino Semiclassico Marble reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
