Rosso Verona marble

Marble · Italy

Pinkish beige clouds and two vertical white veins break the violet-toned red background of the slab in the Rosso Verona Marble photo. It is a marble for interiors: it shines in bathrooms and on walls, it is sold on request and we ship it to any country.

What Rosso Verona Marble Looks Like

A violet-toned red fills the slab in the photo, and over it rest pinkish beige clouds and touches of greenish gray. Two vertical white veins cross it on an irregular path. The contrast is medium: the clouds read soft and it is the white veins that stand out. Variation is marked within the slab: the pattern does not hold from one area to another. The glossy polish in the image returns the light over the red.

Showers and bathroom floors do better matte: a polished surface turns slippery when it gets wet.

Rosso Verona Marble finishes

On this violet-toned red, the finish decides the shine: from the mirror of a polish to the most discreet matte.

  • Polished

The highest shine of the four; it is the finish the photo shows.

  • Honed

Low shine and a soft touch; the comfortable finish for showers and floors.

  • Brushed

Very low shine and a textured touch; comfortable on walkway floors.

  • Antiqued

Almost no shine and the air of an aged stone; it suits tables and interior walls.

Questions about Rosso Verona Marble

What is the difference between Rosso Verona and Rosso Lepanto?

In its photo, Rosso Lepanto carries a thick network of white veins that encloses intense red fragments: the network dominates the slab. Rosso Verona reads differently, a cloudy violet-toned red background with pinkish beige patches and two vertical white veins in the photo. In its photo, Rojo Alicante is the most even of the three: terracotta with a few white veins on the diagonal.

Does Rosso Verona Marble work for a kitchen countertop?

It works if you accept the patina: marble keeps the marks of daily use and over the years adds them to its character. A lemon or vinegar spill leaves a dull patch on the polish; the care is to wipe it up right away. If that patina is not in your plans, the marble or granite guide compares options that go easier in the kitchen.

What care does Rosso Verona marble need?

To clean it, water and neutral soap; wipe up any lemon or wine that spills right away: acid marks the polish. The water-drop test shows how much your slab absorbs and whether it is time for sealer, which lowers absorption though the stone stays porous. And if use leaves its marks, the marble can be polished again and recovers its surface.

Is the Rosso Verona photo a real slab?

Yes. The photo shows a real Rosso Verona slab, with its violet-toned red and its two vertical white veins. The pattern in the photo does not repeat on other slabs: yours will come with its own. Before you buy, we send photos of the slabs available for your order.
