What Monaco Light Marble looks like
A fine, even network of cream veins runs over the pinkish beige background in several directions. The veining is dense, but contrast stays low: no single line rules the whole. The three tones, pinkish beige, cream and light brown, share the slab gently. The slab reads polished and glossy. Within the slab the pattern stays uniform: the network covers the whole surface at the same density.

Questions about Monaco Light marble
Is Monaco Light the same stone as Monaco Claro marble?
Yes. Monaco Light is another trade name for this same stone. Before you buy, we send you photos of the slabs available for your order.
How does it differ from Verdello marble?
In their photos, both build a fine network over a beige background. Verdello draws it with sinuous gray lines, like a crackle pattern. The Monaco Light slab uses cream veins in several directions and its background leans pink: the color of the network and of the background makes the difference.
Does Monaco Light marble hold up as a kitchen countertop?
Yes, if you accept that it takes on patina over the years: the marks of use stay and are part of marble. The delicate point is acids, from lemon to wine: they leave a dull mark on the polish, a chemical reaction, not a stain. For a countertop without these marks, granite stands up better to acids.
What care does Monaco Light marble need?
Daily care takes the simple path: water with neutral soap. Wipe up acidic liquids right away, from tomato to wine. The water drop test tells you whether it is time to seal: when the stone darkens where water fell, that slab absorbs.
How does Monaco Light marble reach my country?
We ship to any country, with the stone's documents of origin and its CE certification. On the shipping page we explain how it reaches each region.
